Overview
This tour begins in Casablanca and takes you on a journey through some of Morocco’s most iconic cities and landscapes. You’ll visit the bustling metropolis of Casablanca, the ancient city of Fez, and the stunning desert landscapes of Merzouga. Along the way, you’ll experience the rich culture and history of Morocco, and you’ll have the opportunity to explore some of the country’s most beautiful natural wonders.
Itinerary
Transfer from Casablanca airport to your hotel or riad.

Depart after breakfast.
The first stop will be a visit to the largest mosque in Africa, the Hassan II Mosque. Its 200-meter-high square green tile minaret is the second largest in the Islamic world, after Mecca in Saudi Arabia. It was designed by the French architect Michel Pinseau, who also designed the Moroccan pavilion at the Seville Universal Exposition.
Afterwards, we will depart for Rabat, the capital of the country. Visit the Hassan II Mausoleum and the old town of Medina Lodaya.
After lunch, we will depart from Rabat for Chefchaouen.
Overnight stay in a hotel/riad/dinner.
After breakfast at the riad, our journey begins towards Volubilis, crossing the Rif Mountains and a beautiful oak forest. We will stop at Volubilis to discover the Roman ruins and learn about Moroccan history from BC. Then we will drive to the city of Meknes, founded in the 17th century, where we will stop for lunch.
In the afternoon we will visit the historical sites of the Medina, such as Bab el Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later we will head to the city of Fez, where we will spend the night. Accommodation, hotel/riad/dinner.
At 9:00 am, after breakfast, we will begin our guided tour of the Medina.
The Fez Medina, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981, is one of the largest walled cities in the world. It was founded in 790 AD. We will discover and walk through the narrow streets full of shops with fresh fruit, a variety of spices, Berber carpets and many other objects of Moroccan art.
We will visit the Royal Palace, the tanneries, the potters and also the oldest university in the world, created before Oxford and the Sorbonne.
We will have lunch in the center of the Medina, in a typical restaurant. After lunch we will complete the visit to the Medina and return to your hotel around 4:00 pm.
Departure in the morning after breakfast, we start the day towards the Sahara from the Riad, crossing near the Ifran National Park. We will make a break in the city of Ifran, to enjoy its beauty and take memorable photos, then we will head to Azrou to see the monkeys (Barbary monkeys) in the cedar forest and then we will continue to Midelt for lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the Tizi N Telghomt pass (1907 meters high) to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of the Ziz gorges, which offer incredible photographic opportunities. Later we will make a stop at a panoramic view of the Ziz valley. The journey continues to Merzouga passing through Aoufous and Erfoud, as soon as we reach the Erg Chebbi dunes, we prepare for the experience of riding camels in the dunes for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset. Accommodation, tents/dinner.
If you wake up early, the Sahara desert offers an incredible sunrise. After breakfast you can return calmly by camel to your hotel, at the edge of the dunes, and appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes with the first lights. After breakfast and shower, we will leave for the Todra Gorges, known as an important destination for climbers. The highest and narrowest gorges in the west of Morocco, where we can walk a little before heading to the Dades Valley.
After breakfast, we begin the journey to the Valley of the Roses, which blooms in April, and we move to the palm trees of Skoura, where the architecture of the Kasbahs extends to the shade of the palm trees. We will stop in the city of Ouarzazate to take a picture of the Kasbah of Taourirt, as well as the film studios that are the most important lights in the city of Ouarzazate, then we head to Ksar Ait Ben Haddo, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most visited sight in the south, after the walking tour and lunch, we take the road again crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n Tichka pass (2260 meters high). Arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon.
Breakfast. Today we will dedicate it to visiting Marrakech (official and local guide), the second oldest city in Morocco, founded in 1062, it became the capital of the Islamic world. It is an unavoidable destination for travelers who are passionate about history, religious heritage and cultural spaces. They will not be able to miss visiting the Jamaa el Fnaa Square, the Koutubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs or entering the Medina and walking through the labyrinth of alleys that make up the famous Marrakech souk. In the afternoon, free time. You will have the possibility to optionally dine at the famous restaurant “Chez Alí” with performances by different Moroccan folk groups.
